Tethered

Premise
A reclusive employee at a self-storage facility begins entering locked units at night to combat his crippling loneliness. When he starts to experience increasingly vivid hallucinations involving things he sees from the units, the lines between fantasy and reality start to blur until they are impossible to tell apart.

Writer’s Statement
Will isn’t well. He’s seeing things. He has for some time. Whether it’s grief, his medication or pathological loneliness, it’s getting worse.

Tethered is a psychological thriller feature that takes an intimate look at what it’s like to fall in love at a time when both your mind and life are rapidly unravelling.

The film presents an intricate puzzle that will have the audience questioning the on-screen reality on the same level as the emotionally crumbling protagonist.

Using a macro lens, the story examines what it means to be human and takes a deep dive into the boundaries of conscious existence.

Treatment available on request.
